Through individualized consultations, we bring the Mural Arts approach to community-engaged public art practices to leaders across the globe, building their capacity and sustaining community-driven projects and practices. We work with artists, activists, teachers, arts administrators, policymakers, planners, culture bearers, municipal government officials, and more - All to ignite change through equitable and accessible practices.

STARTING AGAIN IN SEPTEMBER!
Register to join an informal, virtual lunch hour (1 p.m. EST) where diverse staff from Mural Arts answers diverse questions from a range of participants. Not only will experience and knowledge be shared by our team, but also by peers who happen to join that session as well. This valuable peer learning opportunity is not pre-curated, but registration is required to receive the zoom link in advance.

Register to book up to 3 hours for one on one consultation with one of Mural Arts Institute’s lead consultants who can answer a range of questions and share examples from their many years of experience. Once registration is complete, you will receive a questionnaire about the topics you’d like to explore and booking options.

Book a visit to Philadelphia’s Mural Arts Program. Institute staff will guide you in a full day experience, including consultation time with diverse team members and a specific site visit with an artist. This visit is fully customized to the theme of your learning goals. This opportunity is for up to 5 individuals, beginning at 9:30 a.m., includes lunch, and ends by 5:30 p.m. Fee does not include transportation, lodging, or incidentals related to travel plans. Fee includes documents and materials that will be shared with participants.

Deep dive into a particular topic of your choice
Lunch including consultants and/or additional advisors
Site visit to a project with the artist and/or other project participants

Are you looking for some hands-on training in the Mural Cloth installation process, along with detailed knowledge of diverse mural making methods shared by our long-time Resident Artists? Book a visit with us for up to 5 individuals. Fee does not include transportation, lodging, or incidentals related to travel plans. Fee includes documents and materials that will be shared with participants.

Break for lunch on your own at the Reading Terminal Market
1:30 - 5 p.m.: Hands on Mural Cloth installation training & consultation on production techniques

Would you like us to travel to your city and offer our mural production, poly-tab workshop to your artist community and/or staff? An experienced artist and lead consultant will plan with you the ideal professional development experience and provide shopping lists, print outs, and recommendations ahead of the trip.
Cost includes any materials we provide, and time planning ahead and reflecting afterward. This does not include our team’s travel, lodging, and per-diem, supplies, space, or additional support or refreshments for the actual training.
Depending on your location, and scenario, an increase in cost may be required.
WE OFFER:
2 hours of planning conversations ahead of time
List of supplies to purchase ahead of the training
1 full day to set up the training on site w/ your team
1 day to deliver the training and clean up (training usually lasts 2-3 hours)
2 hours of reflection and any final Q&A
