Germantown Jazz Festival Live Art

Mural Arts will participate in The Germantown Jazz Festival’s new Art Pavilion, a vibrant addition to the festival, sponsored by the October Gallery. This exciting showcase will bring together the art community to celebrate creativity, culture, and expression through a diverse range of artistic works. Highlighting both emerging and established artists, the Art Pavilion creates a dynamic space where jazz and visual art intersect.

The festival will feature local Germantown and juried Philadelphia-based artists, offering a diverse array of expressive art that reflects the times and lifestyles of people living in the diaspora. The event will include representation from Ubuntu Fine Art Gallery (open for visitors during the event), ArtSisters.org, and Mural Arts Philadelphia.

We are looking for two artists to each create live art on 12'x8' plywood panels from 12-6pm. The selected artist will be paid $1,000 for their participation - materials besides plywood not provided. The boards will be reclaimed following the event.
