Efrain Herrera is a contemporary artist based in Philadelphia, PA, specializing in painting. With an educational background spanning Mexico and the USA, Herrera’s artistic journey began at the age of 15 in Veracruz, Mexico, where he completed his initial paintings. Transitioning his focus to mural painting, he aimed to make art accessible to the community, receiving specialized training in 2001 through partnerships with the Philadelphia Mural Arts Program and other prominent art organizations.
Herrera’s diverse range of medias and materials encompass acrylic, charcoal, pencil drawing, markers, watercolor, pastel, oil paint, alcohol ink, fluid art, spray paint to mention some as well as conservative and generic tools. gaining recognition within the Philadelphia mural community.
